Sunday's Notes for Week in the Life

I have no photos to show you today because I'm waiting until the end of the week before I print them off.

Instead I thought I'd summarise what happened during the day here and that way I can come back to it when I make the book.

I've made a list on my computer of the photos I've already taken.

So here are the notes that I've made so far:-

Started to take photos today only to find the batteries are running out on my camera. It's alright though because I have more in the drawer!
I woke up this morning to the sound of my nephews playing. A nice sound to wake up to just not at 7.30 in the morning!
The first photo I took is of the washing that needs to be put away. I then took a photo of my uniform to document that I'm going to work. The camera (and spare batteries will be coming with me of course!!)
I have a photo of the view from my bedroom window. It's raining today - typical!
My perfume of the day as modelled by my pillow and I also have one of the bottle being held up (by me) in the window to show the shape.
I took a photo of my new memory stick that I bought today and photos of my birthday present - an XCUT Impress!!!
I've kept my bus ticket and losing scratchcard!

FOOD EATEN

Breakfast - Crunchy Nut Cornflakes
Lunch - Chips
Dinner - Cheeseburger

Snack - Fruit Pastilles

TV WATCHED

Charmed Season 3

I then took another photo of the view from my bedroom window and it's even more horrible out than it was this morning!!
I took a photo of UKScrappers webpage and Ali Edwards Forum - my view of the laptop and then took a photo of my view to the TV - watching Charmed!!

More photos to take tomorrow - am at college so will have to find ways to document that!

Saturday, 4 October 2008

It's been a long time

I haven't posted since August so I have a lot to catch up on.

I'm going to be starting a new scrapbooking project that takes up a week. More details about it here Ali Edwards - Week in the Life.
I already have a couple of ideas for it which is cool.

I went back to college on the 15th (which is also the day I turned 22!!!) and I'm really enjoying it so photos for the project will be easy for college days because I have lots of books for the lessons to take photos of!

I've decided that to document work I'm going to photograph my uniform and scrap my bus tickets etc.

I might be going to the cinema on Wednesday to watch Righteous Kill with dad.

Tomorrow night I'm out with Ben and Claire and James might be coming too. It will be fun.

Monday night I'm going to spend scrapbooking (hopefully!) because I haven't done any for a while. Actually all I've done is my CJ entry for My Favourite Place. It's my best entry yet and I'm really proud of it.

My paperbag book kit has arrived. I also bought one for Mum and Lynda so it'll be good to work on them as well. I have photos of Harry, Reece and George that I want to put in there.

I'm going to finish here because this entry is becoming REALLY long!!!

Scrapping and Little Women

Its a Saturday morning and I'm getting in some quality scrapbooking. My family have gone on holiday so all my craft stuff is downstairs. I'm currently working on some amazing mini books as part of the UKS Summer Bash. The instructions are by Annette and her work is amazing!

I'm also watching Little Women while I scrap. I've just got to the bit where Beth has died. Makes me cry every time! I adore the books and need to find the film on DVD somewhere so that I can carry watching it whenever I want to!

I'll hopefully post some pictures of my work soon.

Pattern and Colour Class 1

Pattern and Colour Class

I hope you had a fun time taking photos throughout the week and creating your mood boards ready to start the classes.

Lets recap – throughout the week you needed to take photos of things that had patterning and colours in them. I showed you examples of mood boards I created to give you ideas. These mood boards are to help you when it comes to creating your scrapbook pages.

Each week a new prompt will be posted for you to get inspiration from to help you create a mini book a mini book created purely from pattern and colour ideas.

Now that we’ve recapped lets start on our first prompt:

INSPIRATION PROMPT: A perfume or aftershave bottle.
These bottles come in different shapes, sizes and colour. They are a fantastic source of inspiration. Using a photo you took of a pattern last week create a page using the colour and/or shape of the bottle and combine that with a pattern from the photo to create a single or double page.

Now don’t forget the photos you took last week are for inspiration. They aren’t the ones for you to scrapbook unless of course you really want to.

Don’t forget to upload your pictures and link them so that we can all have a look.

I’ll work on my page and show you within the next few days. Next prompt is next week.

Magical Memories

I'm taking part in a new class created by ScrapDolly on UKS. Its to create a travel album either Disney themed or non Disney themed.

Well I've decided to go a little mad with this one because the prompts are so amazing. The first one I'm doing is Paper Scrapped and is my dream disney holiday which I'm going to do another version digitally. Then I'm going to do one is non disney themed and just my dream holiday!

So all in all I'll end up with 3 books - 2 digital and 1 paper.

I've created my first page on the paper one and taken several photos. They aren't great because they're from my mobile but here you go. The journalling reads:

"This is me!

This Scrapbook is about my dream Disney holiday. I've been to Disneyland Paris before but only for one day. This plan is for a holiday in the Paris resort and the Florida resort!"

< < "The place to light up your dreams!"

So that's my first page. Don't forget to go to ScrapDolly's blog http://dollysdreamings.typepad.com/dollys_dreamings/ and check out the prompts for yourself. Also look at her fantastic work!

Saturday Mood Board

Here's todays mood board. Its a little more full than the past few with specific things for you to look at - for example Irish Dance Dresses!

Todays Mood Board

Here is today's mood board completed for you. I'm interested to see if you use this when we come to actually making the book. Don't forget for the first week we're collecting inspiration.

Don't forget to comment and link to your mood boards.

Pattern and Colour Class

Here's today's mood board for prompt 1 posted yesterday.

I hope you enjoy taking part and get some good ideas. Check back tomorrow for another mood board.

Pattern and Colour Class Image

This is my first image mood board that I digitally created for the first class. The rest will be added shortly.

The next class prompt will be posted next Wednesday. I'll be adding new mood board photos up until then.

Pattern and Colour Class

I hope this goes to plan. I've created a class based on pattern and colour as inspiration for pages.
I'd love to see what everyone has come up with. I'll post each prompt here - the first being posted today and my inspiration from those prompts will be posted as well.

Here is class lesson 1:

Patterns and Colour Workshop

Patterns and colour are around us everyday in every different object we see. By the time this course is finished you will have a book made up of patterned and coloured pages. You can use these prompts to create a scrapbook or a mini book of your choice.
I’ve created 5 prompts to give you inspiration for your first five pages. The sixth prompt is up to you whether you choose to go ahead with or not.

This is a short class and each prompt will be posted on my blog with the date that the next prompt will be posted on as well.
There is no time limit for this class – each prompt can take you as long as you want. I’d love to see what you come up with and I’ll be working with you along the way. Each prompt I give will also have my version with it as further inspiration for you.

Here is the first prompt:

Take photos of everything and anything in your house that contains colour and patterning. Try and use the most unusual objects in your home. These photos will be your inspiration for colour and pattern. It’s up to you how you want to display these photos. You could create a mood board or keep them loose. The following is a list of patterned objects. You can use these and add your own:
CDs
Wallpaper
Magazine Adverts
Perfume Bottles
Coke cans
Cross Stitch
Scrapbook papers
Clothing
Childrens Drawings
Curtains and Net Curtains
Wooden Flooring
Bathroom Tiles
Material

I've taken my photos and will be creating digital mood boards. These will be shared with you in a separate post.

Update

Wow I've neglected my blog lately. To be honest I haven't really been home or crafting so there hasn't been anything to put on here.

I plan on working on the latest CJ layout today because I haven't done that yet and I've got about 12 days before it has to be posted again so I better get my butt into gear and get sorted. I'm als going to be working on an album for my friend. She doesn't know about it yet and won't until its finished so I can't post anymore details about that here!

I want to try out making a star book because thats something I like the look of but have never made. I also want to make an exploding box! I don't know if you can tell but I'm trying to use up some stash!

I start college this year on my 22nd birthday. I'm going to be studying Business Studies in my first year and ICT as a support on the side. I'll then be studying ICT and Sociology in my second year.

Shimelle has a new class posted on her site. It looks good but unfortunately it's about £25 and I can't afford that because I want to start driving lessons again this month.

Tonight when I get home from work I'll be working on my CJ and then looking through my magazines for the exploding box intsructions. We'll see how I get on!

Sketch number 3

I tried to upload this the other day but Blogger wouldn't let me! I used flowers to symbolise embellishments but obviously they don't have to be flowers.
Enjoy!

Monday, 16 June 2008

Sketch number 2

Ok so this is 8x11.5 inches but obviously can be turned landscaped and worked that way. The circles stand for embellishments which is what they say in there but I don't think they show up!

Sketches I've created: Number 1

Ok so I thought I'd try my hand at creating some sketches and if people like them I'll create more and then either a seperate blog or freewebs site for them:

The first one is created as size 8x8 but can obviously be adapted to a bigger 12x12 size.

I've labeled the title but obviously you could have that as journalling and your title down the side and the 2 squares are for you to do as you please either paper with a photo on top or 2 photos layered or you could use the back box as your journalling.

Do as you please and don't forget to share your creations!

Here you go:

It's been a while

It's been such a long time since I came here - I can't remember the last time I blogged.

I haven't got any new photos of creations to share with you today partly because I haven't crafted for a while. I've put myself on a ban from buying new things because I do have a LOT of stuff that needs to be used first. I need to use more to create space first. I'm going to have a tidy up in a bit and craft and see what I can come up with. Hopefully then I'll have new stuff to post on here.

I went to see Indiana Jones today. It's the first of the films I've seen and its actually quite good so I might find the others and watch them...

I got the next Circle Journal through today in the May Be Babies CJ swap. I sent on the Seasons one yesterday and received What's precious to you... I need to get my thinking cap on because I want to try and do this without pictures because my family and friends are going to be the theme BUT there are so many of them that photos will take up the page. I have an idea in mind - it's just putting it into practice now!

My points for June on UKS are rubbish because I haven't actually done anything other than my last CJ entry!

There isn't much else to update on other than the fact that I'm going to tidy for a bit now and then scrap or crochet (I have a blanket to finish by July 17th!) and watch The Pursuit of Happyness.

The End of a Week Off

I've had 9 days off work and now I have to go back to work tomorrow...
I did my first double layout today which if you're a UKS member you can see in my Gallery. I'm also thinking of a mini book that I can do using my acetate for pages, I've also bought lots more supplies so you'll see alot of new papers in my work. I've done some more crocheting and also almost finish my CJ entry which I can't wait to post on and gain another one!

I've watched Sex and the City seasons 5 and 6 ready for the movie, I've seen Made of Honour at the cinema and started reading The Secret Diary of a Demented Housewife and also started reading Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult which intrigues me more at the moment than Demented Housewife does. I did some of the Charmed Cross stitch I've been working on and watched both High School Musical Films and listened to the Soundtracks. I'm going to see it on stage on July 1.

I went to visit Michelle and Lee the other day and we went for a drive and ended up in Faringdon to buy chips which I have to say tasted LOVELY!!!!!!!!

I think that at the moment that sums my week up!

Layout

This is what I've created for the May Week 1 challenge....

The title reads Sing Along and is done by drawing round wooden letter templates. You can't see it on the picture but there are little gems stuck in the letters.

The flowers are made by stamping onto black card and heat embossing them to make them stand out and again there are gems on the ribbon.

The journalling reads "Sam and I love to go out dancing and singing along to the music!

I bought a DoCrafts goody bag today and I'm going to open it up in a minute and have a proper look at the stash. I then might have a go at the May House challenge but I don't have a picture of my favourite place so I might have to find some ideas for that one!

Next project is to finish my Maze book that I started and then work on making a book with some acetate pages!

Paperbag Album

This is the first album I've made from paperbags and I'm really impressed with it. I bought a kit that was black and white and came with quite a bit of stuff that I haven't used so I have extra stash to play with!!

Digital Scrapping

Today I've been Digi Scrapping. A few posts below is my Digi Sketch for the CC. Looking at it now and comparing it to my other two I have to say it's rubbish lol although not bad for my first attempt.

Here's my layouts titled A Night with the Girls and Chester.

Monday, 28 April 2008

Scrapin' Baby!

How sad am I that the CC is over :(

I had such a cool time. I created 4 layouts, a tag and a digital sketch. That's more than I normally do thats for sure.

I've set up a tribal pages site for my family to keep track of my family tree and I've bought myself a notebook to keep myself better organised!

I'm getting ready to start my CJ - its going to be called Back In The Day and will be filled with everyone's icons from a past era. I can't wait for everyone elses either although I will have to sit and plan before I actually work on their books because I'm very scared that I'm going to screw up. One wrong mistake and there will be one person with a screwed up CJ and I can't bare the thought that it could be me creating that mess!

I'm going to colour my hair in a bit and then watch Waking the Dead.

Craft Stores

Now SPS isn't what I'd call a "proper" craft store - more like one of those that you can find goodies in when you least expect you!
Today I went in there and got 2 Embossing powders, a stamp, 4 sheets of acetate and some wooden capital letters! I was quite impressed with myself.

Now I'm sitting down and completing another page of my Birthday scrapbook and then after 2 more pages all will be done!

That'll be another project completed!

Quick Post

I've been busy preparing stuff in my room that I can sit and craft tonight.
I'm picking Reece up from nursery at half eleven and we're having a couple of hours auntie and nephew time where I have bits to do and we'll pick some sweets or cars or knowing good old auntie Hannah both along the way.

I'm taking a camera into town to be developed so there should be some funny pics from Saturday night to look at!

I've been looking at Her Space My Space (HSMS) lately and it's really cool. I've read about it on different Scrapbook sites and in different magazines and decided I'd find it out and go from there.

Thought I'd post my first ever digital layout done using PSP 9 for the UKS CyberCrop Challenge. It's a pic I took of me and my friend Hetal on the bus!

Anyone that knows me would probably have a laugh right about now as I'm sat here with a towel around my hair and thinking I really should finish drying it but with so much scrapbooking stuff to look at online its so difficult!

It's nice and sunny out today and already I've washed up, done bits for dinner, looked at UKS, Celebrity Loop, read my e-mails, looked at HSMS and read Shimelle's blog. Also I'm in the middle of looking at a blog that belongs to a member of UKS and she has some AMAZING stuff on there.
Later on I'm going to create a list that shows all my fave blogs to go to!

Bit tired but doing well

My Modscraps kit has arrived and the papers in it were so lush - I've also added to my collection by buying more little bits and pieces.

I've got semi up to date on my challenges - have a few that I'm going to work on in the morning but I don't expect to get them completed as I have to get the half eleven bus to work.

Tomorrow night hopefully I will finish tidying my room and craft area in my room and there will be another challenge completed. After that I can sit and create whatever bits I didn't create in the morning!

Happy Scrapping!

Good Afternoon to all

I've been out to Wantage this morning and I've bought some excellant stuff to use in my scrapbooks etc. I bought my blank covers and book rings for when I take part in my first CJ! Can't wait - it's exciting to try new things especially as I don't think I'm such a great crafter!

What else did I buy - some ATC blanks so I can design some of them but now I'm lacking in inspiration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMMIT!

I've found a website where I can find maps of areas from centuries ago so can pin point exactly where my ancesters lived!! Hop over to http://hannahsancestry.blogspot.com to have a look!

That's all I'm gonna write for now. I'm going to look at more ATC inspiration and see if I can get some of my own!

Lovely day out but I have to work

I woke up a little later than I had planned to this morning as I had a ton of things to get done. Unfortunately I didn't even make it halfway through my list.

The main priority was to finish Tricia's present and then start on the million cards I need to make. Unfortunately I didn't finish the present or start the cards so that was unfortunate!

I have to go to work in a bit - catch the 12.38 bus and then start work at 1.30. I finish at 10 tonight so will be working hard on catch up of all things I needed to do then!

Tomorrow morning I'll be on and off but will definately be setting my alarm as I need to sort out my room enough for some shelves to be put up on Saturday once I've bought them. I shouldn't imagine I'll be online on Saturday as I should hopefully be in Ikea!

Claire e-mailed yesterday and she is coming home in June instead of September which I'm soooooooooo unbelievably happy about!

Family tree is going well.

All I want to do is throw open my window have the sunlight in and craft on what looks as though it's going to be a beautiful day. Unfortunately I have to go and work and deal with the fair tonight which means I will miss the lovely sun!

Hope everyone else is going to have much more fun than me!

Day Off

Today was my day off from work. It was nice. So much fun to be able to relax.

I made my grandads birthday card and did some more of my family tree. I've set up a blog to record my findings - http://hannahsancestry.blogspot.com - a member of UKScrappers helped me find a missing relative. I found the wife and the children and had the name of him and his year of birth and with that bit of information she found his name, where he was born, lived and his parents name!!!!!!! Read my other blog to find out more.

I met up with Siobhan and we went to my nan's we then went to Subway for food and then to the cinema to see Hortan Hears a Who - it was so funny. Now I'm home I'm going to work on my family tree blog and maybe to some scrapbooking etc later.

I have a few things to do first though!

Magicalness haha

I found a site through another ace blog that tells you what type of tarot card you are. I love Tarot - well I love anything spiritual and magical lol. I don't believe in God or any of that the world was made in 7 days and you need to confess and go to church every sunday to confess all and relinquish (spelling?) yourself of any sin you may have otherwise you won't go to heaven. What kind of lesson is that for kids. Don't have fun or you won't go to heaven???????? Don't think so some how!

Anyway here's what type of card I am!

You are The Magician

Skill, wisdom, adaptation. Craft, cunning, depending on dignity.

Eleoquent and charismatic both verbally and in writing,
you are clever, witty, inventive and persuasive.

The Magician is the male power of creation, creation by willpower and desire. In that ancient sense, it is the ability to make things so just by speaking them aloud. Reflecting this is the fact that the Magician is represented by Mercury. He represents the gift of tongues, a smooth talker, a salesman. Also clever with the slight of hand and a medicine man - either a real doctor or someone trying to sell you snake oil.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

I love it - I'm a magician!!!

Same old today - work til 10 come home and blog more or craft although I have a whole day of that tomorrow WOOOOOOOOO.

Must go and visit my nan as well. I forgot to give them their anniversary card that I made and it was on the 1st! Got lots of stuff to do. Want to finish my birthday book - and my paper bag book and everything else planned. Like Tricia's birthday present which is on the 16th. Then I need to start Sam's but it isn't til September so I can take my time over that!!!!

Well I'll post more later. Hopefully work will be more exciting today.

CyberCrop Challenges

Morning all

I've not done too much this morning other than catch up on my sleep, read e-mails, check websites and learnt the latest challenges for the UKS CyberCrop which should be really fun!

I still have to make my planner but now I have my craft stuff back from my brother I should be able to work on that one tonight and then tomorrow I can do my signature scent - I have to transform a bottle into what I think my own perfume bottle would look like!

I need to get a memory card for my camera before Saturday so that I can take it to West Midland Safari Park. If I get it today then I can photo my work that I create tomorrow and post them on UKS.

Tired and Bored

Well again today was a 6am get up day, went to work and that was that lol.

Finished at 12 and met my friend Ben to go to the cinema. We watched 27 Dresses. Ace Film. Been posting on a message board and getting replies from Lin Shaye herself!

What else have I been doing? Not much - sorting out my room and I'm gonna get to bed soon cos I'm shattered!

A new layout

I think I've finally found a layout that I actually like. And although I created it so it sounds as though I'm bragging I do like the jigsaw piece at the top to represent the Piece of Me phrase!!!

Anyway just a quick entry before I go and get food before lunch. Dunno what to have though!

Can't wait til next Saturday as I'm going to West Midlands Safari Park. I need to get a new memory card for my camera as well so that I can take it with me and take hundreds of pictures!!!

I'm taking part in the UKS Cyber Crop although I can only be part of one full day and little bits on the Sunday. Unfortunately on the Friday when it starts I'm working and on the Sunday I'll be at work too! I'm not making any plans for the Saturday so that I can sit and craft although with my limited stash I don't think I'll have a lot of colour variation.
At least I might use some of the papers I've bought though - GASP use the papers!

I have some nice textured ones that as wierd as it sounds I just want to sit and stroke cos they have the nice velvety feel to them!

I'm thinking of new things to put in the side part of my blog as well!

Must go and get lunch!

Feeling Blue and Missing My Claire

I'm so tired it's unbelievable. I started work at 8 this morning which meant having to get up at 6 and getting a 7.15 bus and then a 7.33 bus to get in work on time.
I was Home Shopping picking until 5 this evening so it was a really long day. I learnt some new things on there today though which means thats another department I can sign up for on overtime.
I got home at about half 5 and had dinner etc and started doing the washing up. Then had a phone call from Michelle to see how I was and then I went to her new place which is really nice. It's cool cos I can bus there etc on days off or whenever lol. It's nice having a friend like Mich. We don't see each other for days sometimes weeks on end but we always know where the other person is when she's needed. And bless her she has such a lovely other half. I'm quite jealous lol she's got such a gooden in him.
Anyways on with my story of the day. Got home and checked my e-mails and had two from Claire. One just for me asking how I am and talking about whats happened lately. The next was a general one and I'm so jealous it's completely unfair. She's described such beautiful things and I'm stuck here in unsunny Swindon working while she's seeing elephants and hippos and beautiful sunsets.
I miss her loads too. She's too far away. When she was in Chester we'd chat online and text and phone etc. I can't do that now. I have to wait til December before I can see her in person!

That's enough of that.

I'm rather angry but also rather happy!

This will be a rather strange post especially as I'm angry but happy at the same time.

I'll start of with the anger first and then end on a high note!

I bought myself a game for the PC - checked all my system requirements first of course - and then went to play ot and apparently my video acceleration isn't as fast as it should be! So now I'm just waiting with a new game in front of me that I can't play right now! How annoying!

The happy note is that I bought myself some crafting stuff to be able to make all of the cards that I need for April! Then if I get on well with all of them I can just carry on making more. It never hurts to have a supply of cards around. Especially if you're like me and realise you've forgotten a birthday or anniversary etc!

So that's my post for today!

Friday, 28 March 2008

Good Morning All

Well it's been a while since I posted and I feel quite silly because I forgot the password!

A lot has happened recently! I've moved back in with my parents which feels quite strange but it's good because I see them more and I see my nephews more. I'm looking at going back to college and then possibly university!

I've been doing my family tree and have so much more information now to put onto my tree when I get round to it although I don't know when that will be so it could be that I have a HUGE pile of papers to add to the tree when I have the time.
I'm also helping my friend research his tree which is proving to be a little more difficult because he has some unusual names and no one seems to have heard of them. I always thought the unusual names would be easy to find but apparently not!

I'm missing my scrapbooking - the majority of my stuff is in storage and I need to arrange with my brother to go and get more out of storage to organise it as I go. Unfortunately I now have a small bedroom and don't know where half of my storage units are going to go which means I'll have to condense down quite a lot. Maybe that can be my task for tomorrow although my nephews are over so unless we go in the morning I won't be able to do any of it.

I'm feeling a little lost at the moment and probably a bit stuck. My routine has changed since I moved back in with my parents and although some good things have come out of it like taking my nephew to school when he stays over - (I did that for the first time this morning - it was so cool!), it also means I'm back to the long bus journeys to work which cuts a lot of my time off of researching, crafting or doing whatever it is that I want to do. I have to leave the house an hour before work just to get the bus which arrives half an hour earlier than I start.

My new fave bands at the moment are Nickelback - specially Rock Star - and One Republic. I haven't forgotten the Chili Peppers - I still like them but they haven't bought anything new out lately!

I saw and bought OK! magazine the other day with pictures of Jennifer Lopez' twins. Emme and Max are so cute. My friend says Emme looks like Mark Anthony but I think that she has Jen's eyes!
Celebrities always have cute babies - Christina Aguilera's son Max. Britney's Sean Preston and Jayden James, Gwen Stefani's Kingston - they're all so cute. But not as cute as my three nephews although I'm biased obviously!

Speaking of Britney - now I love Britney as sad as it is I think she's a fanstastic singer but at the moment is misunderstood and in need of some help away from the public eye but we all know that will never happen! I love the album Blackout but really the 'Break The Ice' video - come on give us a better one! A cartoon Britney is fighting evil for something - what does that have to do with the song? I think that they need to scrap that video and bring a new one out. I understand that at the time Britney was busy with issues in her personal life but it's such a downfall from the videos for Gimme More and Piece of Me which just showed classic Britney!

I'll leave it at that - it's a rather long post!

Well here it is

This is my very first blog on this site and I'm hoping it won't be my last.

As the title says this blog is going to be a Piece of Me - my thoughts my crafting and all the bits in between!

I signed up to UKscrappers today. It's the first time I've been there before and I've found loads of people who are from Swindon like me. I wonder if I know any of them through work etc - maybe I've served them! It was interesting as well because I found a Red Hot Chili Peppers Appreciation thread and they are my favourite band in the world! There was even someone from Swindon on there!

Right I suppose I should actually tell you a bit about myself.
My name is Hannah, I'm 21 and as you can tell I live in Swindon and am a big Red Hot Chili Pepper fan. I'm also a big Beyonce fan and have a website http://www.beyonceflawless.com - it's a bit behind at the moment because I don't have internet in the house that I live at right now so when I move the internet is going to be installed and then I can blog lots and update my site completely. I'm also looking for staff on that site so if you're a Beyonce fan check it out and post on the forum that you want to be a staff member and I'll get back to you.
Obviously I like crafting because like I said I just joined a scrapbooking site! I cardmake, crochet, knit, cross-stitch etc. I'm saving up to do a course in fashion design - one of those home study courses that means I can work and pay my rent and study when I want to!

Anyway I'll probably post again in a minute with my thoughts of the evening but I thought I'd introduce myself first!
